social events
tuesday - alyssa, anne, jenn, leslie, & i went down the mountain.. grace was feelin tired so she stayed in her dorm.. whoo hoo.. finally! we went to jamba juice & soup plantation.. mMmM good.. well, afterwards we asked leo to take us back to the mount.. yahoo.. the short cut.. haha.. "cut it short. right guys?".. it was so dark & curvy & we still didn't trust leo yet, so we were wonderin where he was takin us.. anne, jenn, leslie, & i went to the swimmin pool to eat the food.. it was a great night.. oh ya, leslie missed most of her classes this week.. lazy booty.. drich seranated me while i was on the balcony =P.. hehe.. "shout to the Lord, all the earth let us sing.." haha.. thnx buddy..
thursday - "phatty gurls" went down to westwood just for the heck of it.. haha.. it was hot, humid, and raining!.. how worse could it get?.. hehe.. umm, it did get worse tho.. u all know that westwood is BRUIN territory & if u know me, i have USC pride.. i wore the really bright yellow jacket from my dad & all these UCLA guys were goin up to me & stuff.. haha.. i didn't know whether they were goin to jump me or not; but i made polite conversation & they reacted conversely than i have expected.. after all the fiasco, i treated myself to a dozen CHOCOLATE chip cookies.. we went to eat @ mr. noodles (aaa..rice..mMm) & starbucks.. golly, college is fattening.. went to look for a gift for valerie's b-day.. we found this cute outfit & shoes for $9.99.. great value.. and it's really nice.. hmm.. alyssa bought a pack of cigarette-lookin bubble gum.. back to the mount.. i was pretty tired after cuz i'm gettin sick.. @ the lounge, alyssa gave me one of the gum & the RA (vanessa) came in, pointing out that there's no smokin allowed.. i deliberately pretended to blow/chew in her face (i wouldn't do that if she wasn't close to me.. hahah).. she just laughed & said, "aww, u're such a freshman!" haha..
there was the ASB "pajama" dance goin on but i didn't want to go.. dragged on all fours by my so-called "friends", i ended up changin into my pj's.. before i made an entrance, grace video-taped me to see alyssa's reaction when she saw me in my matching pokemon pajama.. ira (came to visit), drich, and the group were crackin up so much.. ya, guys! i look like i could reflect the disco lights..haha.. they couldn't believe that i was goin to the dance in that outfit.. frankly, i didn't care what ppl thought of it.. as long as i was comfy.. haha.. it was so hot in the campus center.. i came in really shy cuz of my pokemon clothes.. but ya, my embarassment paid off.. i was chosen one of the "cutest" pj's.. we were all dancin.. man, they're all party animals.. gee gulay.. drich, leslie, grace, & alyssa talked or something & planned to freak me.. yucky! gross!.. "leave room for the Holy Spirit!" (ms. briones).. that caught them off guard & they started laughin.. i finally went all out.. i started battling, c-walkin, a lil bit of break dancin, some ravin here & there, one-two-cha-cha-cha, & yes, even my drill team performance.. hahaha.. jerr, drich, & ira were watchin me.. *blush, blush*.. so, anywho.. hidden talents..
around midnight, we finally made up our minds to do some academic work.. we pulled an all-nighter @ the cafeteria till 4 am.. first it was just the girls, then a tap was heard on the window.. it was drich.. he was waitin for leslie or somethin.. oh ya, i'm still tryin to find out who his mystery crush is.. instead of studyin, he kept yackin & yackin about himself.. yup, "i'm all talk" right, drich? but he's a sweetie tho.. i found out some more about him & i'm glad i did.. jenn & grace found the ice cream.. man, we were grubbin again.. hehe.. the security person came in &, being the crzy one, i raised both hands (with the ice cream cone held high) & said, "i'm not eating anything." hahha.. the security woman just laughed @ me.. hehe.. oh man! we accidentally messed up the ceiling too.. hhaha.. we didn't realize that it was removable & ya, there's this big hole now.. haha.. hopefully, there are no security cameras.. hehe.. drich was tryin to find out what kind of guys i like when we were playin truth or dare.. i picked dare.. haha.. i had to go to the freaky 19th century elevator that is all closed up & dark all alone.. i did it guys! i went up all by myself; but there was a point where it stopped for a couple of seconds.. aaaahhh!.. i accompanied anne to the CR cuz she was scurred.. she told me that she worries about me.. ya, cuz she said evil spirts/devil prey on good souls.. i told her not to sweat about it.. jesus is my light.. escorted jenn to her dorm thru my patio.. another scary incident, i turned around & the inflattable man moved.. oh mi gosh.. aaaahh!!.. then i realized that it was the gusty wind.. man, no more scary stories for me..
friday - cuz of the whole night's activities, i fell asleep in all my classes.. poor professors.. but it's ok cuz i did 2-week's worth of class work & homework ahead of time.. so ya, i didn't miss much..
I'm going to stop procrastinating ... once I get around to it.
